The monument to the heroes was unveiled in Honkajoki on August 6, 1922. It made of gray granite. On the monument are the words from ”March of Satakunta”, written by Hjalmar Nortamo:

”For the homeland,
for the lands of Satakunta,
for whole Finland”

Among others, on the monument can be read the name of Arvi Mukkala. He fell on the front of Tuloksa River on June 13, 1919.
