Since the Council of State has granted permission to the Governing Council of North Ingria to issue “To help Ingria” stamps, the Governing Council has printed the mentioned stamps in the amount granted by the permit, 39,500 Finnish markkas. The stamps are former post stamps of North Ingria with the additional overprinting “To help Ingria”. Have been issued 2,000 of each with values of 1, 5 and 10 markkas and 5,000 of each with values of 80, 50, 30 and 10 pennies. Its will be used as special envelope stickers and memorial stamps.
