The resolution
of the All-Russia Central Executive Committee
On the constitution of The Karelian Working Commune

June 7, 1920

The All-Russia Central Executive Committee in the view of a social emancipation of the Karelian workers decrees:

1. According to the article 2 of The Constitution of RSFSR, to form from the regions of the Olonets and Archangelsk gubernias inhabited by Karelians a new administrative unit – the Karelian Working Commune.
2. To order the Karelian Committee, composed of Comrades Edvard Gylling, Jaakko Mäki and Vasili Kudzhijev, immediately to begin the preparetion of the convocation of the Congress of the Soviets of the Karelian Working Commune, which will set the administrative structures of the Karelian Working Commune.
