The Supreme Soviet of The Republic of Karelia decrees:

1. To change the name of The Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialistic Republic to The Republic of Karelia:
   To change the words "Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialistic Repuplic" and "KASSR" in the text of The Constitution to "the Republic of Karelia".
