The Onego Lake settlers would not hunt successfully if not for their small shaggy dogs – huskies. The husky will run the game on the master or will stand staring at it with constant bark (they say it may bark so for the whole day), unless there comes the muster with its sure rifle. Those huskies originate from Korela and still the best huskies may be bought from Karelians. The price of the trained dog is as high as 3 rubles; the pup from the good bitch may cost up to one ruble. |
