One of "The Monument of the Winter War" project goals is the development of military and historic tourism on the territory of Karelia and Finland.

Its participation in the reaching of this goal Around.Ru Ltd. sees in the development of travel routes in the coöperation with Karelian and Finnish partners.

We mainly focus our activity on INCOMING and OUTGOING tourism developing the following business directions:

1. The company owns a log house in one of the most reserved areas of the republic of Karelia - the Kizhi Architectural, Historical and Ethnographical Open-Air Museum boasting a rich culture and masterpieces of Russian wooden architecture of the 14th-19th centuries. It is the exclusive right of our company in Karelia let alone Russia for offering accommodation and cultural programmes in this virgin and famous throughout the world area. So, we are one of the first to officially work in the niche! Here tourists can enjoy untouched nature, sights hidden from the eyes of visitors coming for a short visit, fresh air, solitude, wave sound, sunshine, local cuisine, picnics, folklore and jazz music, boating, fishing, hunting, riding a horse or snowmobile!

7. Winter and summer fishing - at the Onego and the rivers of Vonga and Kem (trout, some types of salmon, pike, perch etc.)

13. We take part in the 1939 winter war project developed by museums and travel companies of Finland and Karelia
14. We help our Scandinavian partners deliver clothes to child's asylums in the poorest areas of Karelia
15. We tend to create travel firms networks to offer a big choice of package tours and cater to the needs of Karelia as much as possible
