Coat of arms of USSR in 1946-1956By a Decision of Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 26, 1946, the new version of the coat of arms of the USSR was accepted. The motto "Workers of All Countries, Unite!" was represented in 16 languages of Soviet Republics. Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Moldavian and Finnish languages were added.
After the abolition of the Karelian-Finnish SSR, by a Decision of Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of September 12, 1956, a ribbon bearing the motto in Finnish was removed.
