Establishment of diplomatic relations between the Soviet Union and the Finnish Democratic Republic

(TASS). On December 1st this year the Chairman of the People's Government and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Mr. Kuusinen addressed to the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR with the official statement for formation of the People's Government of Finland and suggested to establish diplomatic relations between the Finnish Democratic Republic and the Soviet Union.

The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR decided to recognize the People's Government of Finland and to establish diplomatic relations between USSR and the Finnish Democratic Republic.
